This listing is for a set of five ready to color Insect Postcards each measuring 4x6”. The postcards are professionally printed on 60lb weight, smooth postcard paper.
Each postcard is also available as a 5x7, 8x10 and 11x14 Giclee print (listed separately).
The original paintings were created using professional grade watercolor paint on cold pressed Arches watercolor paper, in the heart of Georgia, in the USA. (You can check out videos of my process on both Instagram and Facebook under Candace Fincher Art.)

I love the art and was excited to color these postcards. But the finish on the paper creates a surface unfriendly to my markers. Sharpies usually can write on anything, but it has been a struggle to color with sharpies on these cards. I am disappointed, and while I bought 2 packs of cards, I have put them aside in frustration. But the drawings are amazing!

These postcards are just the thing for my niece, who loves to relax by coloring intricate pictures. I would love to see these in floral designs as well. I'll be gifting these and I'm sure they will be appreciated and enjoyed.
